Landmarks		 264 buildings in different European architectural styles and Bulgarian traditions have been announced cultural monuments. Nowadays Burgas is a modern city. Along with modern architecture, buildings from the beginning of the 19th century can be found. The streets are landscaped and the parks are maintained and beautiful. Some of the popular landmarks of the city are the Sea Garden and the Burgas Bridge (walking pier), reconstructed in the 80s of the 20th century.

Unlike other large Bulgarian cities, where the construction of new buildings destroyed a lot of green areas, green areas in Burgas have remained almost intact. Burgas is home to celebrities related to culture and art. Songs were sung about the sea, the city and its famous evenings, which in the summer are cool and extremely pleasant for walks around the city.
